Chapter 1 : Misunderstandings to End (of Chapter)

Loki was a misunderstood ethereal being.
During the Norse Ages, he was thought to be the Trickster, and was thought br the husband of Angrboda,the giantess. Loki also was thought to create earthquakes.
But in actuality, Loki never created earthquakes. Earthquakes happen because the core of the planet moves. Not because of Loki. The worst rumours were that he had Angrboda as a wife and took on a mistress (Sigyn)! Oh please.
No, but Loki had been a bachelor his entire life.

Loki, also known as Mischief, does not know his past at all. And everytime he had some spare time, not tormenting humans (and mortals) he would sit down and wonder, how was he created. Of course, he cannot be a descendant of Ymir. Because the Gods used Ymir's body to create the world and everything else. But then, that was pure crap.

He knew he was Trouble's step brother (possibly half brother), because he had grown up together with Trouble, since young. But having done an ENA Test (that's Ethereal Neucleic Acid, as opposed to DeoxyriboNucleic Acid, which humans have. Ethereal Beings have ENA, thank you very much.), he was pretty much confirmed that Trouble cannot be his brother, (since there were so little ENA strands that were similar, only about 0.2% of the strands were similar.)

Their parents ARE not GIANTS, nor were they Odin. No, Odin and the like were Norse Gods. And Norse Gods should remain where they belong : in the legends. However, Loki was very much real. Or rather, ethereal.
No, not ethereal in the sense of being light and weightless. It's more like being celestial.

And so, Loki sat down on the road, overlooking the void (and the falling van being driven by Angelo Nerezza.) and started to think.
One of the nice things of being an ethereal being was that they had two timelines. One was the ethereal timeline, and the other, the real timeline. The best part was, that the real timeline was just a point. Not a line*
He cannot remember his past, save the troublesome growing up time with Trouble, and his sisters, Nuisance and Woe.
He barely had memory of his step parents (he assumed that he was adopted)
And that was exactly the problem. Ethereal Timeline is a LINE. Not a point, like Real Timeline. In the Real Timeline, he can turn it like a sphere (technically, the 3 Dimensional version of a point is a sphere), and toy with it anytime. Like he know what was going to happen to Yoriko next. And what to do with her.
And Mischief lost his train of thought.
Thinking of Yoriko (life seem to revolve around these few characters only right?), he jumped up and fell into the void (intentionally, of course)

Chapter 1 : Void

In the City that Once Was, or the City that Now Disappeared, as it was now called, Kyori went into the headlines of the newspapers. (Of course! How many times a day do you see a City disappearing? I bet you see it everyday)

Headlines like : City Disappears. Area Sanctioned, and Who ate Kyori? Reito Govt. Suspects Underground Monster (But then again, the latter was a headline for a lunatics only newspaper)
The problem was not that the City disappeared though.
A City that disappeared, leaving only ground could be rebuilt, no problems. Like Hiroshima, after it was hit by an atomic bomb.
The problem was, the City, and the ground disappeared. So, people passing through the area found themselves looking at the inky nothingness where Kyori had once stood.(Which was pretty impossible, since the government had sanctioned off that area.
Only the main road bridged the two ends of the inky pit.
And just before the sanctions came in, there was a van on the road. A white van. Inside the van was Angelo Nerezza, and Lilia Type. Tyrk was with them.
And they had a vehicular problem.

To the untrained eye, the vehicular problem seemed to be that the engine had altogether stopped running. But to those who had been trained, they know, Loki, also known as Mischief, had did something. (Actually, Loki pulled one of the engine's belt while it was moving, causing it to snap)
Loki was hovering above the van, cackling like a maniac. No one could see him of course. Trouble's brother (well, STEP brother, if you want to be politically correct) had always caused trouble for him.
Must be the attention he lacked when he was younger. Oh well, wherever Mischief went, Trouble tended to follow. And right now, Trouble sauntered up to them.

And Loki had a brilliant idea. The passengers were still in the van. Time to have fun (and time to trouble Trouble)
He gathered his breath, and fixed the engine.
The vehicle moved. But, then, Loki, as usual (after fixing something), will have his own clause to the agreement. This time, he controlled the steering wheel. And pointed the van towards the void. And accelerated.

Trouble had to catch up with the falling van. But, Trouble was as usual, slow. Misery could kill him for this!
He sped up.

Chapter 1 : Darkness with Interest

Darkness watched with Interest in the Courtroom.
Darkness lurked in the dark corner where the jury were sitting.
You see, Darkness cannot show himself in the courtroom. It was not dark enough. So he had to crouch down in the dark corner of the Jury Box. Technically, a man would not be able to see anything if one crouched down in that dark corner. But Darkness had a special ability, that is to see through solid matter. And the best part is, he can control how far he wanted to see through solid matter. Admittedly, he had enjoyed the view of people's underwears and privates (girls especially), but he simply would not admit that to his wife, Blindness. Lacking eyes, Blindness was highly suspicious of everything her husband does. And dogs his (almost) every move. The worst part, Darkness told himself, is that Jealousy was such a good friend of Blindness. Yes, the green eye monster, with 5 tentacles and 3 legs, and 15 normal eyes and one green eye.
But not today.
Darkness will have some fun. Besides, he already knew the outcome of this trial. He had watched it earlier on.
The weirdest thing was that Yoriko had taken off her underwear in the steel room, after he left. Anyone sane would not do that. Right?
He had a suspicion that Insanity had got to Yoriko.
But right now, he was watching Apathy fighting with Trouble. A tiff, of ex-lovers. Nothing could be more wonderful than that.

"You're supposed to be at Kyori!' Apathy shrilled in a voice so high, that no normal mortal could hear it. Neither could any mortal see them. Of course not.
"Yeah. And guess what happened when I went there? They were HAPPY! HAPPY that their city disappeared from the 3 primary dimensions! Happiness got to them first." Trouble grumbled.
"So? You've lost a city, and now, you want to steal my customer from me??! Or are you scared of your WIFE" Apathy snarled. When she said the word wife, Darkness could feel his hairs tingling*
"No, remember, I told you. You're gonna have one revolting slave. I found the candidate." Trouble retorted
"Oh, so, now you wanna make me lose the bet eh? Is that what you wanted me to do? that is always what you wanted me to do, ain't it? Lose the bet. Like last time..." Apathy screamed. Anger was her husband, whom she could not care less about, and wanted a divorce.
Darkness forced himself to look at the court proceedings once more. It is afterall, inethical to listen to your neighbours quarrel about their sex life, relationships and so on right?
Darkness was an ethical person.




*Technically, that would not be called hair. Darkness was inky black. And you cannot tell the difference if he had hair or not

Chapter 1 : The Trouble with Trouble

Misery knew she is not a lesbian.
No. Thank you very much for that suggestion, but she HAS a husband. Trouble.
It was usual, that Trouble flirted with girls (who are in midst of a breakoff in their version of puppy love)
But then, after Trouble and his friend, Sorrow ravaged the girls, Misery would always then have her fun.
No. Seriously. Fun. Who said Misery was not fun?
Yes, she may sulk, she may throw her tantrum, but hey, is that not what Misery is all about? Tantrum was Misery's best friend. At least they were, a million years ago. But let us not go into the nitty details, about how they quarrelled. They are just friends now.
Now, Kyori had went missing. Its civilians (both male and female. Misery was not choosy in her sexual preference, as she liked to put it)were in Trouble and Misery is about to help her husband. Trouble had revved up his new high powered tractor and mowed into the City that Now Disappeared. And that was the fun part. The City that Now Disappeared, disappeared, from the first three dimensions, but not from the other dimensions.
It was exactly like the UnderCity City of LesBif. Technically, the UnderCity City does NOT exist. And yet it does. Too bad Apathy had won over Trouble. She (Apathy) had reached the UnderCity City before Trouble did. Now the people in the UnderCity City did not bother about any emotions. Even now, in the 5th, 6th and 7th dimensions.

And that was exactly the trouble with Trouble. Or, Trouble's problem, so to speak.
Trouble was often slow, in that tractor. Granted, the tractor can influence more people with the newly installed UberTrouble Engine, but the effect was that is was slower than a Snail. Usually, Apathy would ride in a high speed sportscar, souped up with Apathy Missiles and so on.
Well, one could say that Trouble was a traditionalist, and he prefered to do things slowly and properly.
Maybe that is the reason, people always said : Don't go looking for Trouble. It was perhaps Trouble did his job too well.
Well, better than Apathy, at any manner. Apathy's lack of concern over her responsibilities would lead to a revoluting slave one day, Trouble had always passed this snide comment, everytime he met her.

What is the spinoff?
It's simple.
It's a random storywriting blog that spins off the story (written as "The" Story)
As usual, my usual writing of randomness and quirks will be in.
But no, the story will not focus on Yoriko Noda. Instead, it will focus on another girl, also like Yoriko herself (whom Yoriko is planned (by me), to meet in "the" story)
Yes, Angelo Nerezza will be hanging around a little too, as will Yoriko.
And yes, those expecting a little ecchi will find it here too
